HISTORY & MISSION

 

HISTORY  –  Since 2009, The Tongue & Groove Store, was founded on the premise of providing quality solid wood products at wholesale prices. We use select grades of 100% kiln dried lumber, which is processed on-site using modern manufacturing equipment and processes, including in-house CAD capability allowing us to design consistent high quality profiles and products with minimum waste.

 

MISSION  –  Our mission is to provide maximum greatness in everything we do. Our success in the wood products manufacturing and service industry is dependent on our ever improving culture of safety, quality and innovation coupled with a commitment to eradicate waste from within our processes. Our employees keep the individual customer in mind and strive to continually provide him or her with more value than he or she expects to receive.

Our friendly staff will answer your questions and help you place an order. We have limitless options available and offer custom tooling to match your historic or hard to find trim. 4 SIDED HIGH SPEED PROFILE MOULDER

The heart of our operation.  This high speed moulder contains multiple cutter heads, making it capable of planing and profiling lumber in one pass.  The machine is calibrated to read down to .000, ensuring the highest level of accuracy.

TONGUE AND GROOVE ON ALL FOUR SIDES

A double end tenoner is used to end-match (tongue and groove the ends of) our planking.  This machine is also extremely accurate and can be used for precision end trimming.

APPLIES FINISH THICK AND EVEN

Our finish line provides a factory finish by applying the same amount of finish on every piece.  We also have a finish booth for large items such as doors.

PERFECTLY SMOOTH EVERY TIME

As a finisher we understand the importance of good sanding.  All of our flat stock is machine sanded and ready for finish.

PRODUCTION FACILITY

Our 9000 square foot production facility has all of the high precision machines and well managed staff needed to produce over 10 million linear feet of product annually. We have assembled a manufacturing facility here with the storage, machinery, finishing capabilities, staff and shipping capacity to serve any customer in North America. We haven’t stopped growing since we opened in 2009.
